Due Diligence Packaging
DUE DILIGENCE PACKAGING
This process involves taking all the facts about your company, its products, and services, intellectual property, P &L (earnings) and other assets, then verifying the values of said assets in a way that is acceptable to professional investment advisors. Generally, a small to medium size company looking for additional capital will need to present their total asset value in a way that is considered standard due diligence to any representative or investor. We have found that in most cases such packaging of these facts and their value verification has not yet been done professionally; thus the need for this step.
Note that there is nearly always a “due diligence fee” associated with such work. Such fees can range from a few thousand dollars up to tens of thousands of dollars. Most representatives also receive what are called “success fees” (a percentage of the money raised) and in some cases, a portion of equity used to secure the transaction. We will quote all such considerations to you when you are ready to look into a possible capital raise.
