Community EventsIf you want to stay in the focus of your community or even regional audience there is no better way than to become a sponsor of some major event in your local or regional community. This tends to be the domain of the larger companies but there’s plenty of room for smaller sponsors as well.

One such campaign involved a PSI client who manufactures a specialty glass coating process. When attending a glass industry trade show in Las Vegas our client opted to have their name placed on the back of every attendee registration tag required to be worn around the neck to gain entrance to the convention center showroom.

For a relatively small cost our client was able to create a large impact for the thousands of registered attended at this show. It not only positioned and branded the company; it also let all competitors know this company was to be taken seriously.

The net effect was brand recognition, new company interest, and resulting sales of their products and processes.

Other community campaigns can involve advertising at popular events where many people have easy access to the visual impact your campaign can provide. Costs are generally quite reasonable and you have the added benefit of knowing you are supporting popular events where you are viewed as more than the sum of your commercial ambitions.
