NEWSLETTER DEVELOPMENT
Newsletters are an efficient way to keep your name, products, services or current events in front of your prospects or customers. A newsletter can be a single page printed on both sides or twice that with an 11 X 17 page printed on both sides to create 4 page sized panels.
Newsletters can be in the form of a brochure, an online delivery via programs such as Constant Contact, or mailed to your target audience. Newsletters can be published as often as you wish. Some are published monthly while others are published each two months or every quarter, some even semi-annually.
Newsletter content usually consists of at least three or four components:
- About your firm, new changes, news in general, or a new product or service announcement.
- Events coming up or planned for later in the future. Such events may be public ceremonies, or your company participation in larger events of which you are a sponsor.
- Something educational in nature, such as a story about the way your product or service played a role in solving a problem or preventing one in the first place. Other educational content may be focused on facts about something of interest to the reader that gives him or her something of value in the way of knowledge.
- Finally, a newsletter can be a great forum as an exchange of viewpoints. You can add a FAQ section to reflect the interests of your readership.
